Content Slide

The Content Slide is part of the Ionic Layout Component Set. This slide is designed to occupy a full Page in the app and other Components should not be added to a Page when the Content Slide is used. The Content Slide allows app end users to swipe left and right in the slide carousel.

Ideas for Using Content Slide

  • Introduce a list of individuals, whether that be speakers and bios, company teammates, board members, or others. Add a heading above the Slide to introduce what this section is showing. Use the Link feature to connect a LinkedIn profile, giving users more details.
  • Create a list of favorites. Think Oprah’s favorite things, a Buzzfeed list, or an influencer’s blog post. Make a group of your favorite, go-to, or newest, coolest items you have found and post photos of the items here. Link to their product page and overlay text to write more about what they are.
  • Run a glossary of terms. Use the heading, subheading, and body copy to show terms and definitions for users. Instead of using a traditional stock image, add an image file of a solid color, or an image illustration of the term, making the text pop. This can be company, industry, or generational language that is helpful for users to know.
  • Under Settings, toggle on Autoplay to automatically rotate through the carousel for app users.

Pro Tip: This Component is designed to be the only Component on a Page as it will occupy the entire Page.
