Using JavaScript in Your App

Studio Users can add JavaScript to any Page in an app. Editing JavaScript enables Studio Users to further customize the app’s functionality. Accessing the JavaScript Editor requires a specific version of Page Builder. Learn more here.

For example, JavaScript can leverage a smartphone’s native share settings, enabling app end users to more easily share an app with their friends. Currently, JavaScript is required when setting up a form to be submitted and stored using a Feature.

How to Edit JavaScript

Open an app.
Select a Page to edit by clicking on the Pencil Icon. JavaScript is edited at the Page-level.
Click on Advanced in the right column, under Page Properties. A modal will appear with the Page’s JavaScript.
Scroll down to the bottom of the JavaScript to where it reads: Please place your code beneath this comment */ /* Please Place your code above this comment.
Add JavaScript between the two commands.
Click the green Save button.

Note: Lumavate is not responsible for any JavaScript added to an app and does not provide technical support for this functionality.
