Messaging Setup
The Messaging Setup from outlines your mobile messaging program for your Studio's assigned toll-free number. This form must be completed and submitted for review and approval before a Studio can use Messaging functionality or promote experiences via text activations. It may take 10-15 business days for your Messaging Setup to be reviewed and approved. Once approved, you can use Messaging functionality ( available to select subscription plans only).
Additionally, the language at the bottom of this form automatically populates with the required information that you MUST display on all promotions for opt-ins for your mobile message program. This required language is automatically added to any Form using the Mobile Opt-in Form Component.
Field Name | Description |
Business Name | Enter your company's formal business name. |
Website | Provide the URL of your company's main website. |
Address | Registered mailing address for your business in the United States. |
Contact First and Last Name | This should be the name of the person at your business responsible for your overall mobile messaging program. Lumavate will reach out to this person if there are issues with your mobile messaging program. |
Contact Email | Provide the email address for the primary contact for your mobile messaging program. |
Contact Phone Number | Provide the phone number for the primary contact for your mobile messaging program. |
Messaging Volume | The approximate number of text messages you expect to send from the toll-free number on a monthly basis. |
Messaging Phone Number | The toll-free number assigned to your Studio. |
Use Case Category | Please select the primary use case for your mobile messaging program. The dropdown list includes: Account Alerts or Notifications, Customer Support, Employee Communications, Marketing, Multiple Use Cases, Promotions, Surveys, and Verification Codes. |
Messaging Content Example | Provide at least one example of a message you would send to subscribers as part of your mobile messaging program. |
Use Case Summary | Describe in detail the use case for your mobile messaging program. |
Describe Opt-in Process | Provide a detailed description of how individuals can opt-in to your mobile messaging program including the channels that you'll use for promotion. |
Opt-in Example | Provide an URL that shows an example of a promotion for our mobile messaging program. |
Default Time Zone | The selected time zone will be used in Messaging when creating and sending text messages. |
Number of Messages | Enter the number of messages you plan to send to a subscriber from this toll-free phone number during time period selected in Messaging Frequency. This number will appear in all promotional materials and text opt-in confirmation messages. |
Messaging Frequency | Please select the frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly) timeframe that applies to the Number of Messages field. This frequency will appear in all promotional materials and text opt-in confirmation messages. |
Terms and Privacy URL | Provide a link to your Terms and Privacy Policy. We highly recommend using a link shorten for this URL since it must be used in all promotional materials and text opt-in confirmation messages. |
Double Opt-in Confirmation Message | The default message for your Double Opt-in Confirmation text is: "Reply Y or YES to confirm that you want to receive SMS messages." This text is sent automatically to any new subscribers who opt-in to receive text messages via a form. You can customize the wording of this message to align with your brand but it MUST HAVE "Reply Y or YES to confirm" in it since the subscriber will need to reply with either "Y" of "YES" to finalize their opt-in. |
