Studio Two-Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication is only available to customers on a paid subscription. You’ll need to upgrade to a paid subscription if you’d like to take advantage of this security feature. Subscription Plans Overview.
What is Two-factor Authentication?
Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security added to your account to prevent someone from logging in if they figure out your password. This extra security measure requires you to verify your identity using the Google Authenticator app.
Enabling Two-factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication is disabled for all accounts, but you can choose to enable it at any time in the Studio.
Two-factor authentication can be enabled for Studio users by accessing the Authentication tab in the Admin section of the Studio. Only Studio Admins have the ability to enable two-factor authentication for Studio users.
How to Use Two-factor Authentication with Lumavate
- On your phone, download the Google Authenticator app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android)
- Open the Google Authenticator app and select “scan barcode” to scan the barcode on your computer screen
- Enter six-digit code on your computer.
- Congratulations! You’ve successfully set up two-factor authentication and are logged into the Studio!
