Typeform

The Typeform Component which is a part of the Forms Component Set allows Studio Users to integrate Typeform into their apps. There are three display options for Typeform: Standard, Slider, and Popup 

Add Typeform to a Page

Create or open an existing app.

Click the Edit Pencil on a Page.

Click the Green + Icon, located in the bottom right corner.

Either scroll to Typeform in the list or begin typing Typeform to search the list.

Select the Typeform display style to use in the app. The Typeform Component will appear at the bottom of the Content list in the left-hand column. The Typeform Properties will appear in the right-hand column.

Typeform Standard Properties

The Typeform Standard component has the following properties:

  • Component Id - Sets the name of the Typeform component in the app. The Component Id can be referenced using JavaScript to add more functionality to the app as needed.

    Pro Tip: It is a best practice to use only letters without spaces for the Component Id. Symbols, spaces, and numbers are not recommended.
  • Typeform Standard URL - Enter the Typeform page URL. How to find the Tyepform URL
  • Transparency % - Sets the transparency of the component between 0-100%. With 100% being completely transparent. 
  • Show Progress Bar - Toggle on to show the progress bar. The default is set to off. 
  • Show Header - Toggle on to show the header. The default is set to off. 

Typeform Slider Properties

The Typeform Slider component has the following properties:

  • Component Id - Sets the name of the Typeform component in the app. The Component Id can be referenced using JavaScript to add more functionality to the app as needed.

    Pro Tip: It is a best practice to use only letters without spaces for the Component Id. Symbols, spaces, and numbers are not recommended.
  • Typeform URL - Enter the Typeform page URL. How to find your Typeform URL.
  • Button Text - Enter text to appear on the button.
  • Launch Timing (seconds) - Set the launch timing in seconds between 0-10 seconds.
  • Rounded Corners % - Enter a percentage between 1-100 to round the corners of the button. 
  • Show Progress Bar - Toggle on to show the progress bar. The default is set to off. 
  • Show Header - Toggle on to show the header. The default is set to off. 
  • Close on Submit- Toggle off to not close on submit. The default is set to on, meaning the form will submit.
  • Slider Position -  Select the position of the slider: left or right. 
  • Button Color - Sets the color of the button. There are two ways to set the Color: Click the Color Swatch to choose from the app’s Color Palette or enter the hex code in the text field.

Typeform Popup Properties

The Typeform Popup component has the following properties:

  • Component Id - Sets the name of the Typeform component in the app. The Component Id can be referenced using JavaScript to add more functionality to the app as needed.

  • Button Text - Enter text to appear on the button.

  • Button Color - Sets the color of the button. There are two ways to set the Color: Click the Color Swatch to choose from the app’s Color Palette or enter the hex code in the text field.

Typeform Placement Settings

The Placement Settings for the Component sets which column(s) the Component will appear. Each Page of the app can have a different number of columns that are set in the Layout section of the Page Settings. The following Placement settings are available for this Component:

  • Column Start - Sets the column where the Component will start. 
  • Column Span - Sets how many columns the Component will span. 
  • Padding - Sets how much space will appear on the top, bottom, left, and right of the Component. When building a Page with multiple Components, the Padding will determine the overall spacing between Components.
  • Display Mode - Sets how the Component is displayed. If Both is selected, the Component will always show. Both are the default option. If Optimal is selected, the Component will only show if the browser supports the app. The main supported browsers are Chrome and Safari. If Degraded is selected, the Component will only show if the browser does not support the app. The main unsupported browser is Internet Explorer.
